“He’s not little; he’s twenty-three.” I give a low whistle. “Where does the time go?” I ask rhetorically. “Please tell me he’s still all knees and elbows with a head too big for the rest of his body?” I swear I can hear my brother rolling his eyes through the phone. “Sure, why not,” he responds, tone dripping with sarcasm.
My brother always was a bit of a drama queen from what I could tell.
Once our food is up, I grab the trays and carry them over to the table. “Here you go, Nerdlet,” I say, setting his down in front of him. He frowns up at me. “Do you remember my name?” he asks suspiciously. “Elijah,” I purr, the alcohol in my system unleashing my flirty side with full force. But I refuse to acknowledge the way his name rolls off my tongue or how cute he is when his cheeks pink. “Oh,” he says a little shyly, reaching for his food and digging in without another word.
Six years of friendship with them and I’ve never been able to figure out exactly what the deal is between Hudson and Bishop, but I’d put money on them having slept together at some point.
As soon as we set foot on the front porch, the door flies open, and Seph greets us dressed like a fifties housewife in a black and white polka dot dress, a red, frilly apron around her waist, her hair styled and full makeup on. It’s a major departure from the usually laid back look she tends to prefer. “What the hell happened to you?” I ask, and her smile turns to a scowl, and she punches me in the shoulder. “Ow, damn, I just meant you look different than you usually do.”
“I think you look really nice,” Elijah offers in a quiet, sheepish voice. “Thank you,” Seph says, beaming at him before giving me another glare. “Your friend can stay, you can leave.” “Aw, don’t be salty, Sephy. I didn’t say you didn’t look nice.” I give her my best boyish grin, snagging her around the waist and forcing a hug on her. “You’re an ass,” she declares, giving into the hug after a moment of token struggle. “Come on in. I’ve been slaving away for hours.”
I grab my laptop and open it to the same website I looked at before, typing rimming into the search bar. And, oh boy… Elijah: I have a question Theo: Shoot Elijah: Should a person get their butthole waxed if they want to get rimmed? Theo: Funny, Pax, did you steal Elijah’s phone? Elijah: This isn’t a joke Theo: Wait, who do you want to rim you?
Elijah: Just this guy Theo: Like a boyfriend? Elijah: Not a boyfriend Theo: What then? Elijah: More of an experiment Theo: With rimming? Theo: Potentially, yes Theo: Ooooookay. Yes, get waxed, and I’m going to send you a link for…um…prep Elijah: What kind of prep? More than waxing? Theo: Oh, child.
I walk into the kitchen and stop in my tracks at the sight of Bishop pressed up against the refrigerator by Hudson, who seems to be doing his best to devour Bishop’s face. Their hands all over each other, soft sounds of pleasure coming from both of them. To my horror, my cock starts to get hard. I’ve never been a fan of porn, not finding much appeal in watching other people get sexy together, but something about watching the two of them is definitely doing it for
me. Maybe the obvious passion between them? It’s not mechanical; it’s pure heat.
“Oh my god, yes,” he gasps, wiggling in my arms, attempting to impale himself on my erection. “Hold still, Nerdlet. You may not weigh much, but if you keep wiggling, I might drop you.” “Then you can fuck me on the floor,” he concludes. “I don’t care where you do it, just do it.” I drag my tongue along the pulse point in his throat,
tasting the salty flavor of his sweat overlaying the sweetness of his skin. “When did you get such a filthy mouth?” “Probably when you put your cock in it,” he reasons, and I bark out a laugh. “Jesus, Elijah, you’re something else.” My heart beats harder, that yearning in the deep inside growing more intense. If fucking him against the door doesn’t relieve it, then I may be completely out of my depth.
He chuckles. “You may be able to convince me to agree to that.” “Oh yeah? How about we start negotiations after dinner then?” I suggest. “Okay, but I’ll warn you, I drive a hard bargain,” he teases with a grin. “Oh my god, Einstein, did you just make a dirty pun?” I bark out a laugh. “I didn’t think it was possible, but I’m more in love with you right now than I was thirty seconds ago.”
We spot his friends at a table in the corner and make our way over to them. “Well don’t you two look simply domestic,” Hudson teases, smirking at our joined hands as soon as we get close. “And are you wearing Pax’s clothes?”
I shrink against my boyfriend, heat rising in my cheeks. “That shade of green looks terrible on you, man,” Pax scolds his friend. “Jealousy is not becoming. If you want a sweet little boyfriend of your own, you’ve got one waiting for you right across the table. So, either stop jerking him around or shut the fuck up.” Bishop blushes even worse than me, and Seph tries to hide her snicker with a cough. Hudson scowls but doesn’t say another word.
Besides, I think Winston and Leo will be much happier to have me around more,” he points out, and on cue our two snorty, smelly pugs come trotting into the kitchen.
“Oh, there’s just one more thing, Nerdlet,” he says, stepping back and making himself decent as well. Then, he reaches into his pocket and drops to one knee. “What’s happening?” “Shh, I’m trying to do something here,” he scolds. He holds a small box out, flipping the lid open in a fluid motion to
display a dark silver ring. “I’ve been thinking about this whole speech for weeks now and to be honest, I’m not sure how to fit everything you make me feel into a few sentences. You’re the smartest, sexiest, most incredible man I’ve ever known, and I’m hoping like hell you’ll agree to let me spend the rest of my life in awe of the fact that you actually chose me.” I cover my mouth with my hands to hide the unattractive gaping thing my mouth is doing without my permission. “What is happening?” I ask again, my brain unable to process the moment.
“I’m proposing,” he explains with a laugh. “Say yes?” “Oh my god, are you kidding?” I gasp. “Yes, of course. Come back up here before I faint.” I wave him up off his knees and take the ring he hands to me. “It’s made from a meteorite; I thought you’d like it.” “It’s amazing.” I run my index finger over the smooth metal in wonder before looking at Pax again. “This is the com...
