Now, as I read books by Oliver Sacks, Descartes’ Error by Antonio R. Damasio, Phantoms in the Brain by my friend, Dr V.S. Ramachandran and other books, I find that his ideas contained the seeds of what modern neurologists now elaborate upon.

Having read The Serpent Power by Sir John Woodroffe, I was intrigued by the close resemblance that the pathways of the kundalini energy had to the cerebrospinal system.

the ones I loved were the works of Helena Blavatsky, and of course J. Krishnamurti, whose book, Commentaries on Living, is my all-time favourite. Every time I read it, I find something new.
