when IT repurposed the machine, they didn’t wipe the drive as per protocol. They just created a new user account.
At work the computers had so many user accounts it was incredible & I’d put my $900K beachside apartment on them not wiping anything. Everyone used these, every day, pretty much every 5 mins or less than that as you had to login to print off labels & that’s being done by 10 odd people all at the same time, all day & night, often there’s a queue up for it.
