This story was thrilling!
He might have enjoyed the change of scenery, too, if not for the heads. Brutally severed and impaled upon sharpened stakes, they adorned the battlements in various stages of decomposition, silhouetted by the setting sun and thronged by screaming gulls.
Disgusting part that completely added to the incredible story!
