I have a feeling that the day you can seamlessly communicate with any government or public service organisation of your choice via the Internet, will be the day before artificial intelligence finally takes over and murders everyone.
The default emotional state for engagement on Twitter is ‘livid about something – anything – doesn’t really matter what’.
While I am quite happy to wax lyrical about the Internet’s joys, I am deliberately forgetting about all of its shortcomings. The way it lets truly awful people have more of a voice than they ever should have. The way it turns societies against each other, and drops us all into our own silos, where we never communicate constructively with those we disagree with. Things of that nature.
We all know the power of a freshly brewed cup of tea. It should have her feeling as right as rain in no time.
if you just let life come at you every now and again, you might be pleasantly surprised – and you might find you enjoy yourself a lot more.
Life is about finding your balance. No matter how long it takes. No matter how hard it is to get there. And no matter how many duck ponds you have to drive into. Because you will get there, eventually. Trust me.
