I took my towel with me and showed it to Beverley when I got home. “And you wore that all day?” she asked. “To be honest, I forgot I was wearing it after a while,” I said. Eventually it got incorporated into Beverley’s improvised Bulge support system but only after it had been washed. I said this was great, because now I would always know where my towel was, but that got me yet another blank look.
