Sirena always freaked out when I was late. We’re twins, but she got all the stick-up-the-ass genes and I got all the anxiety and our mom’s penchant for day drinking. Definitely the short end of the stick, but again, at least it’s not up my ass.

His voice was far too serpentine for him to be anything close to human. “It’s inside of him,” Apollyon answered, unblinking. Then, he uttered the three last words I ever thought I’d hear him say. “I was wrong.”

“You did say you wanted romance,” he remarked out of the blue. “I can’t imagine discussing Lucifer is very conducive to that.” “Don’t kinkshame me.”

I wasn’t sure how I felt about being so formally welcomed into a sex dungeon, but at least the place was classy.

Apollyon pulled something else off his tray and I groaned when I saw that it was a thick black cockring. “Can’t have you come just yet, or we’ll have to do it all over again.” Was that supposed to be a threat? If so, he really underestimated my willingness to “suffer” for the sake of science.
