A tiny little girl could find lots of nooks and crannies to get into. She’d found the cupboard under the stairs. She’d found the cupboard under the window seat in the main living room. She’d found the cupboard in the pantry. And she’d found the attic. Thank God she hadn’t found the dumbwaiter yet. But Caleb was ready for it. He’d finally put bells on her. Literally. Thank God Shay was into cats. He’d bought two cat collars, with bells, and threaded them through her shoe laces. Now she could pretend to be a kitty and he could find her wherever she was.
