Pushing off the door, I grab his hand, leading him toward my bed. The only light is coming from the fairy lights hanging above my bed that I forgot to turn off earlier. I shove him down, climbing on top of him. My thighs straddle his torso, and I watch him intently as he takes in my room.

Once we’re outside, I walk right up to Sebastian’s motorcycle, bringing my left foot up to the peg and swinging my right leg over the seat. Sebastian hesitates before getting on and faces me. His hand lightly grips where my shoulder meets my neck, his thumb grazing my collarbone. His touch both soothes me and sets a fire inside me simultaneously, and my eyes close on their own accord.

Sebastian’s presence is larger than life. Even without opening his mouth, you can feel his commanding energy. He walks around with this give-no-fucks-attitude that should act as a repellant, but it has the opposite effect, much to his dismay, I’m sure.

Eros laughs. “Sebastian will tell you we’re not technically with them, but the truth is, this is the only life we’ve ever known. He thought once he was old enough, he’d leave and never look back.” Eros grows uncharacteristically quiet. “But, we’re all he’s got.”

Her smile is bright as she shakes her head, that blonde ponytail bouncing with the movement. Her skin looks warm and tan, and I have the urge to walk over there, pull her away by the wrist, and really enjoy the sun.

Yet. But I would be soon. As a kid hearing about our family’s misfortunes, it seemed like some far-off fable. Invincibility syndrome is a real thing. I knew my dad had died, along with Lathan’s and Tres’, but I was too young to remember them. I knew my grandfather died. Hell, I remember when Eros’ father died, and what he did to us beforehand. But it still didn’t seem real...

“Why do you think you have the right to that information?” Selina’s not my girlfriend. Never has been. Just because I was drunk enough to let her sit on my dick one night two years ago doesn’t mean shit. And this right here, ladies and gentlemen, is why you don’t fuck where you sleep. I tried nice.

I simply don’t trust him or his motives. He showed up a couple years ago after his mom died in a house fire, so we took pity on the guy. What can I say? I’m a real humanitarian.

When I open the door, I don’t expect to see Evan standing there, dripping wet in nothing but a towel. She’s bent over her suitcase, holding the towel together with one hand as her hair drips drops of water onto the floor. Her leg and a sliver of her hip are exposed, almost giving me a glimpse of her pussy. I see the shock register on her face half a second before she narrows her eyes, her brave façade slipping back into place. This chick shows about as much emotion as I do.

An hour later, the boys are gone, and a freshly-showered Sebastian emerges from the bathroom. He had the foresight to bring his pants with him to change into, but he’s not wearing a shirt. He ducks his head and slides a palm through his inky, wet hair, shaking the water out, and I take the opportunity to get an unfettered look. His body is lean, but strong. His face is beautiful, but lethal. He brings the towel in his other hand up to dry his chest before tossing it onto the bathroom floor behind him.
