God created us to do that.
Those who would speak the truth of the storm from inside the center of it cannot expect to live without being tossed around by winds.
Prophets speak to reform the institution. It is a collision course of the heart.
So why do it?
Because we must.

Mother Maria Skobtsova,
wrote, “I am your message, God. Throw me like a blazing torch into the night, that all may see and understand.”

A prophetic act aligns the world with the Will of God—even
struggle between the Word of God and the hypocrisy of those who pretend to be just—but

prophet is loud, clear, and nonviolent.
suffer loss of social status and an increase of personal rejection,
the prophet is not impetuous, not a rabble-rouser, not emotionally overwrought or psychologically unbalanced.
The prophet is a living example of the spiritual life with a purpose as large as the life around it.
What message do people get from us?
prophetic spirituality is rife with criticism and conflict.
Change begins with the first clamor of discontent and disapproval. After that, the subject can never be suppressed again. The silence is over. All the attempts at innocence are over.
the melding of differences is of the essence of community building.
Patience says to stay the course.
