Notice five things that you love about yourself that you’ve never focused on before. The things you normally appreciate don’t count—the point is to stretch yourself to notice how special you are by looking beyond what you usually see. For example, along with being great at your job, having a stellar sense of humor, being a loyal friend, an awesome parent, etc., perhaps you’re extremely punctual and you have an excellent ear for harmony. Stretch yourself to notice how much wonderfulness you have to share with the world. Sit in a grateful stupor about what a lovable individual you are.
