While I was writing this book, for SO LONG, I couldn't wait til I would get to this scene, because I thought for sure Grey and Jake would be immediate friends. Then I put them on the page together and I was shocked to discover that they didn't like each other at all. It's so funny how writing works like that, when our characters take us by surprise.
