But if I hadn’t married Joseph I would never have brought Michael and Cara into the world and it is always at that point that I stop this endless questioning. They are the pinnacle of what my life has been about.
I so understand this comment, and feel that way about my adult sons. There's a reason we come together with someone who might not be our life-long partner...and sometimes, that/those reasons, are the children that cme into the world, who we cannot imagine living without!
