This was my first time reading a J.R.Ward novella and I must say I love how relatable the author makes the characters. When I read this I laughed so hard when I read this because I felt as though every person has lived in this moment at one point or another. Absolutely hilarious.

But if you can let go of all that, what comes with it is freedom. A soaring freedom, the soul released from its temporary prison of mortality.”

Brilliant take on death that I had not read before. I think it’s creatively written and easy to understand.
