I’m ready to go home. This means facing the despair I ran from. I’m returning with a new sense of purpose and understanding. Maybe life is a series of decisions with destiny thrown in. Maybe it is accepting that the impossible means opening another door. And maybe it means that you have to stand the strongest during the hardest of life’s times. My darkness has not disappeared, but it is fading. With gratitude for all that I have and a glimmer of hope for what I can be, I release my past and look to the future.
