Most of those I interviewed voted for Boustany, who won. But all along the campaign trail, I heard not a word about Boustany’s vote to roll back regulation of Wall Street, a measure that would strengthen monopolies and hurt small business people, many of whom were Tea Party members. I heard nothing about federal and state subsidies to oil companies, lowered corporate taxes, the role of oil in the erosion of the Louisiana coast, or unclean waters.
