The person standing in front of you, however, is not static. I see people acting as if they are engaged in full conversations, but they are checking their phones the whole time. They might as well be saying to the other person, “Hey, whatever is on this screen right now? Way more important than you.” So many people, including myself, talk at each other but don’t listen.
