Just like when I walked into the sauna after standing in the snowy field that first day of camp, the warm air of central heating sends a shock through my system. A minute earlier I felt immune to the elements and happily cavorted in the snow, but now that I am out of harm’s way and have begun to relax I feel a new creeping, cold sensation.
