The app debuted on the App Store in the fall of 2009, more than six months before UberCab, and offered some of the elements that would later make Uber special. Unlike Taxi Magic, Cabulous showed the images of cabs on a map, and riders could either hail them electronically or call the fleet’s dispatch number.
