When was the last time you attempted something that was destined to fail without divine intervention?

The will of God is the glory of God.
Don’t accumulate possessions; accumulate experiences.
We go through the routine day after day. And before we know it, we’re just going through the motions.
“When you die, if you get a choice between going to regular heaven or pie heaven, choose pie heaven. It might be a trick, but if it’s not, mmmmmmmm, boy.”1
It’s only as we compensate for those disadvantages that we discover our greatest gifts.4

Generally speaking, you are probably never going to be more than about 80 percent certain. Waiting for greater certainty may cause you to miss an opportunity. Depending upon your personality, no amount of information may move you past a particular degree of certainty.8

Counting the cost is a biblical principle, but it doesn’t mean just the actual cost. That’s the easy part. The hard part is calculating the opportunity cost.
God has strategically positioned NCC for such a place as this.
Just because something isn’t part of your life plan doesn’t mean it’s not part of God’s plan.
Everything in your past is preparation for something in your future.
“before I formed you in the womb” and “before you were born.”
Your greatest legacy might be the children or church or charitable trusts that outlive you.
It’s your spiritual birthright.
It wasn’t about Benaiah. It was about David.
