By studying meeting behavior, we've also learned that it's better to have a jam-packed meeting that lasts 30 minutes than to have a relaxed meeting that is scheduled for an hour but for which you only have 40 to 45 minutes' worth of content. If you overschedule a meeting, your directs will gradually begin to underprepare for them and will lose interest. Shorter, more compact, and busier 30-minute meetings will cause you and your directs to use them fully and to not miss them.
