Seibel: So I'm curious—I've observed that often the programmers that write the hairiest, most complicated code are the ones who can keep a ton of details in their mind. You obviously had the ability to keep details in your mind but still cared a lot about making code simple and clear. Cosell: I have to admit that I did both. I would make things simple in the large.
