This seems like a messed up concept of faith. First, to be invested in the creative thing rather than the creator. Second, but there’s more honesty in the tentativeness – – that’s not faith. Faith is knowing that your prayer will be answered, but the answer may not look like what you want. Honest faith is acknowledging the answer to your prayer may be “no,” not excepting that your divinity is going to ignore you and that’s OK.
