So we bounce on, from government by one group of affluent people to government by a different group of affluent people. Consensus-minded centrism yields to authoritarianism, which will self-destruct in time and allow the consensus-minded another chance, which they will inevitably fumble, and so on. When will it all end? When the People finally come back for their Party.
