It’s literally not. I’ve seen reviews from actual Romanians that say this name is not a “diminutive form of Vlad” at all, and I’ve just found out that it is in fact a Czech name for a MAN. There is a female equivalent of this name - but either way, it isn’t from where this book is set🤦🏻♀️
