If I do lead you up the cliffs, I will equip you thoroughly for that strenuous climb.

Do not wear yourself out with analyzing and planning. Instead, let thankfulness and trust be your guides through this day; they will keep you close to Me.

INSTEAD OF LETTING PROBLEMS DISCOURAGE YOU, use them as reminders to seek Me—My Presence, My Peace, My Love.

As you learn to trust Me more, you increasingly delight in time spent with Me.
Rather than trying to maintain control over your life, abandon yourself to My will. Though this may feel frightening—even dangerous—the safest place to be is in My will.
You will not find lasting peace in the world around you, in circumstances, or in human relationships.
But there is a gold mine of Peace deep within you, waiting to be tapped. Take
Because you are Mine, I allow you to connect your deep inadequacy to My boundless sufficiency.
As your circumstances consume more and more of your attention, you are losing sight of Me.
Yet I am with you always, holding you by your right hand
You must discipline yourself to live within the boundaries of today.
Be receptive to My affirmation, which flows continually from the throne of grace.
If I have called you to a situation, I will give you everything you need to endure it—and even to find Joy in the midst of it.

Keep your “antennae” out to pick up even the faintest glimmer of My Presence.
IT IS EASY TO TURN AGAINST YOURSELF when you have failed, but this is not pleasing to Me.
The sooner you turn toward Me, the better: My tender Love can soothe your wounded pride and help you learn from your mistakes.
WAITING ON ME means directing your attention to Me in hopeful anticipation of what I will do. It entails trusting Me with every fiber of your being instead of trying to figure things out yourself.
Waiting on Me is the way I designed you to live: all day, every day.
Do not seek Me primarily for what I can give you.
Anything can be an idol if it distracts you from Me as your First Love.
When I am the ultimate Desire of your heart, you are safe from the danger of idolatry.
But I challenge you to relinquish the fantasy of an uncluttered world.
Accept each day just as it comes, and find Me in the midst of it all.
A successful day is one in which you have stayed in touch with Me, even if many things remain undone at the end of the day.
I see you trying to find Me; our mutual search results in joyful fulfillment.
I am pleased with your desire to create a quiet space where you and I can meet.
I monitor all your efforts and am blessed by each of your attempts to seek My Face.
You look for what is wrong and refuse to enjoy life until that is “fixed.”
As you move through the turbulent stream with Me, let circumstances mold you into the one I desire you to be.
