Whatever it is you want, practise it now. If you want peace start being peaceful now. Don’t go looking for it tomorrow; it won’t be there. It’s now. If you want to be happy, start being happy now. If you find that the mind is drawn to things which create unhappiness, don’t let it go there. Stay cool, and you’ll find you are happy, content, without needing anything. Imagine yourself at the end of a day soaking in a nice warm bath. You relax, the mind relaxes, the body relaxes. Everything relaxes and you are content.
