“Let’s try this again... How does it feel to spend the day with your ex-girlfriend/best friend/woman your mother thinks you’re dating while pretending your current boyfriend is just a friend?”
“Bryce?” Nick asked and then licked his lips. Every logical thought fled from Bryce’s brain. All he did was react.
He took a step inside, then another. With a slow hand, he touched Nick’s cheek, fingers shaking as they rubbed against the growth of hair on his jaw. Then, he slowly leaned in and pressed his lips to Nick’s.
“I’m sorry I hit you.” “I’m sorry I kissed you...I think. Maybe not. No, I think I’m just sorry you hit me, too.”

This answer was even easier. “So fucking much I can’t think clearly most of the time. It’s like you filled this place in my world that I didn’t know needed to be filled. Hell, I didn’t even know it was there before you came and claimed it. Wanting you is the only thing I’m sure of. I don’t know how it happened or why, but I know it’s there.”
Anytime you date someone there’s a possibility of getting hurt. I want you. I trust you. I’m willing to take the risk.”
All they wanted to do was be in a relationship with each other. Why did they have to wait for people to come around, or need other people to support them? The only thing that should matter was the fact that they cared about each other. End of story.
Why does everything have to be so black and white? Boy or girl? Gay or straight? Why does everything have to have a reason? Maybe some things don’t have reasons. Maybe they’re destined to be for no other reason than the fact that they are.”
