Everyone knows that alcohol is only a temporary fix. All you are left with the morning after is a badass headache. You’re still gonna remember the heartache and betrayal.

He knows what he does to me when he looks at me like that. Like I’m the only woman in the world. Like neither one of us has a past. Like we’re not hiding from the present. I don’t know what our future holds, but at this moment, it goes on forever.

You don’t lie to someone unless you have something to hide.

Why throw salt into the wound?

The sound of the ocean is behind me, and I have my girl under my arm. I can’t tell you how good I feel at the moment.

Winning that race last week made me realize that was only half of my dream. The other half was having her there with me.

Why is life so cruel?
