Christ’s worth stands in sharp contrast to worldliness. To live for wealth or sexual sin or any pleasure or security or comfort of this world will make our dying pure loss. But to live in, with, and for Christ makes dying pure gain. Death proves to be Christ-centered gain only for the one who is Christ-centered in this life.
