That hadn’t bothered him when he had seen her only as a physical diversion. And now, just because she had been nasty with him on the phone and never acknowledged his last invitation to meet today, he had categorized her as less desirable or less deserving.
This is written like a satire of a misogynist, but we’re supposed to be 100% on Rayford’s side
