They found the woman, now nearly seventy, sitting stiffly in the outer office staring at the television. Two balled-up tissues rested in her lap, and she riffled a third in her bony fingers. Loretta was in the last book, but I think this is the first real description of her that we get. Hope she sticks around, since having a 70-year-old southern belle in the party would be a lot of fun.
