Arthur Lydiard had it right in 1962. If you want a better stride, all you have to do is run enough so that eventually you can run for two or three hours without looking any less fresh at the end than you did at the beginning and your form will “take care of itself.” Running at low intensity most of the time (specifically, 80 percent of the time) will enable you to run more so you can take fuller advantage of this natural process.
