This is the far frontier of hacking the human body, and it’s all about your poop.
For example, if you eat a low-fat, low-calorie breakfast your body will secrete insulin, which allows your cells to use the sugar you just ingested and thus causes your blood sugar level to drop. Your Labrador will start to panic because it thinks the body is running out of the fuel it needs to stay alive. The Labrador starts to pester you to eat something sweet to raise your blood sugar.
Low-fat foods containing sugar spike insulin, which leads to energy crashes and weight gain.
atherosclerosis.

The most common sources of MSG are processed chips, commercial salad dressings, broths, commercial soups, and sauces like barbecue sauce and ketchup.
There are several other sweet food additives that provide no benefit and contain significant risks, including acesulfame K (ace-K), saccharin, sucralose (Splenda), and tagatose.
Eating excess polyunsaturated fats will not improve your health, longevity, or performance and is likely to contribute to cancer and metabolic problems. The most common polyunsaturated oils that you should avoid include canola, corn, cottonseed, peanut, safflower, soybean, sunflower, and all other vegetable oils.
As a result, these oils cause inflammation rather than reducing it like healthier Bulletproof fats like grass-fed animal fat, coconut oil, medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil, butter, or olive oil do.
Corn and its derivative products are Kryptonite and are found in almost all processed foods.
One of the main problems with dairy is the harmful process of pasteurization, which heats milk to 150°F for about 30 minutes before it is stored at temperatures below 55°F. This process does reduce the small risk of milk contamination, but it also kills off the beneficial probiotics in the milk, denatures milk proteins, and basically transforms milk from a source of nutrition into a source of many health problems.
When milk is homogenized, globules of fat surround the XO, making it impossible for your body to break it down, with unknown effects.
organic raw milk, kefir, or yogurt from grass-fed cows.
Your body needs more sodium than potassium in the morning so your blood pressure can go up, but eating fruit (which has a lot of potassium) for breakfast causes your blood pressure to go down. Low blood pressure in the morning makes it harder to feel energized and ready to face the day.
Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter (in the United States and European Union) and the New Zealand–produced Anchor Butter (in much of Asia and Australia) fits the bill.
The coffee stood up to the coconut oil better than tea, and the final crowning achievement was to add 1 or 2 teaspoons of MCT oil (a coconut extract) to the coffee along with 1 or 2 teaspoons of unsalted, grass-fed butter or ghee. Together, these ingredients created the creamiest, most delicious, best performance-boosting cup of coffee I’d ever experienced. This is Bulletproof Coffee.
The Bulletproof solution is to eat a modest amount of Bulletproof carbs (about 30 grams, plus vegetables), but only with your evening meal or soon after. Once or twice a week, eat 100 to 150 grams.
When a woman eats too few calories, her body gets stressed in response to the famine signal and stops being fertile until food supplies (or caloric intake) return to levels that support reproduction. This is why women who are suffering from eating disorders often stop menstruating. Their bodies are in famine-panic mode and are attempting to protect the women from the stress of pregnancy by cutting off fertility.
Never fast while pregnant, ever! It is extremely important for an embryo to receive adequate calories and nutrition in the womb.

Because it’s so prone to oxidation, olive oil should never be cooked. Choose high-quality brands that are packaged in dark glass to avoid oxidation.
good general rule is to eat between 0.325 and 0.75 gram of protein a day per pound of body weight.
These companies also make sure that the MSG forms as the result of glutamate combining with sodium, rather than adding MSG itself, as it would then need to be identified.

Small variations are fine and do not constitute failure, but of course you’ll want to rein it in and stick to Bulletproof foods if you see your weight and performance start to really suffer. If this happens, go back to the 2-week plan to give yourself a refresher course on Bulletproof principles.
