15that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.
16“For God so loved the world, [21] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
22The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son,
One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.”
11I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
30I and the Father are one.”
JOHN 14 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; [65] believe also in me.
6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you.
Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
21And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’
27And he rose and went. And there was an Ethiopian, a eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure.
“Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, 35but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.
47For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
17Yet he did not leave himself without witness, for he did good by giving you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.”
35In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
12For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.
26So, if a man who is uncircumcised keeps the precepts of the law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded [8] as circumcision?
21But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— 22the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.
7“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; 8blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin.”
We say that faith was counted to Abraham as righteousness.
3More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
8but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
18Therefore, as one trespass [19] led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness [20] leads to justification and life for all men.
18and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.
6But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.
18For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. 19For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. 20Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within
24Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
6For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
16The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
26Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
31What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be [34] against us?
16So then it depends not on human will or exertion, [37] but on God, who has mercy.
9because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
36For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
6Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them:
Marks of the True Christian
7Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.
10Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
ROMANS 14 As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.
14I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean.
22The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God.
ROMANS 15 We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
22For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles,
15The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. 16“For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
16Do you not know that you [9] are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? 17If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
20For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power. 21What do you wish? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love in a spirit of gentleness?
4When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus, 5you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.
13God judges [14] those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”
19Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
