Apparently, I have been harbouring bitterness, resentment and frustration since my childhood. Now, there’s a surprise. What will the neighbours think? What will anybody think? I really couldn’t care less.

All is fair in love and war, isn’t it? Of course not. That is the biggest and most pernicious lie ever. How ridiculous. Nothing is fair in love and life, and I have wasted far too much of my time wishing it were not so.
