“Look, I’m not interested in what gets you off or whatever explanation you’re about to make up on the spot now. Your secret is safe with me, just for the love of god please keep it out of my box.” And with that, she turns on her sexy red heels and stalks off. I don’t know what the hell just happened, but I am undone.
Brogan turns, giving us his back. I smirk when I see his name and number. Six is number six. Cute.
“Fine. Me and my hand for the foreseeable future.” “Not an image I needed.” She winces. What the hell? My dick is a sight to behold. Or at least I like to behold it quite often.
“I see 20/20, baby, and you’re a rock solid ten. Now stop down-talking my gorgeous girlfriend and take off that dress.”
I feel like I missed a few things last night, he signs, gaze sliding to London and then back to me in question. Just making my fake girlfriend French toast, I sign back. “Right,” he says quietly. Then signs, Are you sure it’s still fake?
He winks. “Now be a good girl, sweetheart, or I’ll have to put you over my knee later.”
“You’re a very convincing fake boyfriend.” “I’m not playing, sweetheart.” I take her mouth and walk her back to the bed.
“I don’t care who else knows as long as you do.” My heart does a funny leap thing in my chest. “I’m yours, sweetheart. In case that wasn’t obvious, I’m telling you outright. I don’t want anyone else but you.”
It feels like someone is sitting on my face. And not in the good way.
When people don’t love us the way we want to be loved, we decide it’s our own character flaw. It’s not. It just means someone else is out there waiting for you, ready to love you in all the ways you deserve.
