A tree trunk or tree branch? Why would a LOG be in a tree, and if there is a part of a broken or cut piece of a tree, why would she huddle against something so unstable? If it’s hidden in the trees, how did she find it?
OR, does the author mean she’s lying on the ground huddled close to a broken branch?

This is all very touching and wonderful for Lor, but could we please get moving with the story? This book is slowly going nowhere and is becoming painful to keep reading.

Blah, blah, blah, blah…get on with the forward momentum! Nothing is happening for too long. Learning information is not the same as something happening.
I sigh and roll back, staring up at the ceiling. After relaying everything I’d seen and learned, thanks to my mother, I didn’t miss the expressions on Tristan’s and Willow’s faces when they realized what had happened and how much they wished they could have seen her too.
We have already been through all of this. Move on to some action! The author is dragging out this story. That tells me she probably could have wrapped it up within three books instead of four.

ERROR
The sentence should read “…especially to her own detriment.” Using the words it has now makes it seem as if the word “detriment” is a good thing, which it is not. The wording makes detriment seem interchangeable with “reward” or “benefit” as in “…even to her own benefit,” which again is not what he’s saying or should be saying.
He approaches her with his hands in front of him like he’s trying to trick a wild animal into trusting him.
can’t get the image of the Heart Castle collapsing out of my head. Logically, I know a building doesn’t matter. I understand it was just mortar and stones and not truly the legacy we left behind.
Did they or have they told the people still in settlements there that the queen is returning? They’ve had faith she would and deserve to know a plan is being worked out.
