One Eighty

“He’s fine as hell but not my type,” I lie.

Even after seeing him get head from another woman, I’m still intrigued.

I like confidence, arrogance, and swag and the man staring into my eyes has all three.

Normally, I would be all in but right now, I just want to know how I ended up married.

I just need to go home and figure out how to get out of this stupid marriage.

I can’t hide my frustration at all. I’m furious. She left Vegas without telling me.

The traitor in our family is my brother. I’ve been sitting on this for two days because I honestly didn’t want to believe it.

He’s been stealing from us too. The twins also discovered money transfer receipts too.

In such a short amount of time, she has captured my heart and it belongs to her and only her.

love her and see forever with her. Trying to imagine my life without her in it has been heartbreaking and overwhelming these past tortuous hours.

My nonstop prayers have been answered and I simply need to make sure my baby is good.

Then she turns her body, giving me her back. “Let it go, Gideon. Let me go,” she utters.

I’m never leaving her. She is my life and my wife. Lying in that bed is my forever and I’m not going anywhere without her.

I just can’t process the fact that the love of my life is losing hers.

Ending my own brother’s life is one threat I pray I never have to make good. “Let me know what they observe.”

None of this would be possible if I never knew my loving husband.

God truly performs miracles when least expected. Mine occurred one night in Vegas.

I also can’t erase the fact that Rhian could have been killed if she would have been in the bed instead of the bathroom.

The doctors basically told me I would have to accept I might not ever have kids.
