Two years ago, I created a one hundred item bucket list to ensure my life had intention. One hundred items with a deadline. My deadline is approaching, and I still have twelve items left on my list.
“Dear Lord. Thank you for allowing me to wake up to another day. I ask that you give me the strength to make this one a good one. In my moments of weakness, be with me. Thank you for my life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.”
She is no longer the woman she used to be. She is now Rhian Powers and she belongs with me. Her safety, wellbeing, and happiness are my obligations and I don’t take any responsibility lightly.
“See, that’s why we need to get our own place. The things that I’m going to do to you will have you making too much noise for Brie to hear.”
“This is so solicitous. You put a lot of thought into this for me. I’m adding solicitous to your list. Thank you.”
If she had any doubt about the authenticity of our marriage, it has to be gone now. Our attraction is strong and after the way our bodies just connected, I’m never letting her go.
“I wasn’t married then. I am now and I want my wife, her soft body, sweet smell, and addictive pussy in bed with me when I open my eyes.” Well damn.
“Rhian Barnes,” I answer. “Barnes,” his deep baritone scoffs. Gideon. Presha must have transferred his call. “Rhian Powers. Make sure that you answer the phone correctly next time, gorgeous.”
“Heal me, Lord, and I’ll be healed. Save me and I’ll be saved, for you are my heart’s desire,”
“Loving you and taking care of you is natural, like breathing. Don’t thank me for breathing.”
