I pray as a way of harnessing God’s love and using it to work miracles in the lives of others. As I do so, I too shall be blessed.
DAY 178
I trust there is a perfect plan for the unfolding of my highest good, which my rational mind cannot perceive or formulate. God’s plan works, and mine does not. I cannot know how my part fits best into a larger plan for the healing of the world, but God does. My job today is merely to open my mind and open my heart so that a higher consciousness can then flow through me. DAY 179
Today I walk forward in the confidence God provides.
I do not lack confidence, for I am confident in God who lives within me. I am
neither better nor worse than anyone else, and in that lies my freedom to love and be loved.
I need neither to add nor to subtract from my essential being, for whom God has created me to be is more than enough. I walk forward today in perfect confidence that the holiness within me, created by God, is the truth of my being and the light of the universe.
DAY 180
In order to truly communicate, we must take responsibility for the heart space that exists between us and another. It is that heart space, or the absence of it, which will determine whether communication is miraculous or fearful.
DAY 181
Divinely inspired being precedes divinely inspired doing. I seek to be today who God would have me be, that I might know—and be capable of manifesting—that which He would have me do. As I make the focus of my attention the enlarging of my compassion and the honing of my gentle self, then all I am meant to do will proceed from who I have chosen to be. My highest function is to be the person I am capable of being, in order to do what I am capable of doing.
Today I call forth my highest mission, by standing in the space of my highest self. As I do so, the universe arranges itself to pave the way for my highest performance in the world. I will naturally attract all people, all ideas, and all situations that make it so. Amen.
DAY 182
Whatever I do, I can do with an attitude of service. Whatever I do, I can do as a way to serve the world. As I dedicate my work to higher purposes, my work shall be lifted, transformed—and even exchanged for other work, if necessary—to serve God’s plan to use my talents for His sake.
Dear God, I surrender My talents and abilities For the purposes of love. May my work become my ministry, And all I have and do be used by You. Thus shall I experience the joy Of knowing That what I do is for a higher cause Than my mortal mind can know. Amen.
DAY 183
He knows how my talents and abilities can best fit into His plan for the enlightenment and healing of all things.
Talents that lie latent within me will arise as I surrender my heart. They will take form as I begin to view everything I do as a way to serve God and to serve the world.
DAY 184
I have a calling because I’m on this earth with a divine purpose: to rise to the level of my highest creative possibility, expressing all that I am intellectually, emotionally, psychologically, and physically in order to make the universe a more beautiful place.
My calling is what I would do whether I were paid to do it or not. It is what I have to do in order to be happy. My calling connects me to my deepest self, and to the rest of life around me. Today may I find my calling, if only in my heart.

What I think about you, I will think about myself. And what I see in myself, I will see in you.
The thought of separation is the illusion at the core of all problems in the world.

I know the most powerful way to make any decision is to ask God to make it for me.
DAY 189
God’s work is the work of my greater becoming, and I don’t have to be somewhere
else, or doing something else, in order to do it. Right in front of me, on this very day, there are things to do and thoughts to think that represent a higher “possible me” than the one I have been manifesting. In any given instant, there is more love I could express.
DAY 190
Our work should spread love. Our store should spread love. Our technology should spread love. Our business should spread love. Our life should spread love. The key to a successful career is realizing that it’s not separate from the rest of our lives, but is rather an extension of our most basic self. And our most basic self is love.
DAY 191
living. I am committed today to seeing everyone and everything as part of God’s plan for me, and for them. May everyone I see and everything I do be used by my higher mind as a lesson in love. May fear thus dissolve in my presence and lose its grip on my life.
DAY 192
fruits. Today I make myself miracle-ready by recognizing I am entitled to the miracles of love.
DAY 193
The true me, my holy self, is beyond any limits of the mortal world. As God lives inside me, so does His brilliance and infinite power. As I dwell in that knowledge, recognizing and appreciating His divine spirit that resides in all of us, I receive the charisma of a self-confident person. Confident in God, I am confident as a person; seeing myself as God’s follower, I come across as a leader in the world. I live within an invisible light, a sense of humble certitude, and a greatness that comes from beyond myself.
DAY 194
may I be within each encounter the best person I can be.
I intend that every situation be one in which I express my truest, most loving self. What happens beyond that, I leave to the intelligence of the universe. I’m not going anywhere to get anything, but to give my all. I’m not going into an interview, for instance, to try to get a job; I’m going there to do my job!
DAY 195
If you think of yourself as being at the effect of a random universe that does not care about you, then you will experience your life that way. If you think of yourself as being at the effect of a loving universe that does care about you, then you will experience your life that way.
DAY 196
As I open my heart, the way will be made clear for me.
DAY 197
The world I want for myself will not emerge from electronic speed but rather from a spiritual stillness that takes root in my soul. Then, and only then, can I create a world that delights my spirit instead of one that shatters it.
