My first thought was that she was what soldiers call a sop, good only for absorbing seed, cleaning messes, and wiping the shit of babies.

“A good magicker can build a place in the mind. A very good one can bring others to it in dreams that are more than dreams. A great one can bring this place into the world, so that every brick and tile of it has weight and matter. I hope to learn to do this last thing one day.
