The king was speaking with two men that Navani vaguely recognized. A tall Makabaki man with a birthmark on his cheek and a shorter Vorin man with a round face and a small nose.

He hated how she referred to the Sibling—the slumbering child of Honor and Cultivation—as her cousin.
Christopher
Ah! I had worried that the Sibling was somehow an aspect of Odium…

I wonder if Mraize's green "chicken" is an Invested Aviar from Patji…

Much as you indicate, there is a division among the other Shards I would not have anticipated.
Christopher
I think these missives are to Mraze and that he is perhaps the Vessel of one of the other Shards.

The deaths of both Devotion and Dominion trouble me greatly, as I had not realized this immense power we held was something that could be broken in such a way. On my world, the power always gathered and sought a new Vessel.

Hmm, could this author be Sazed?

Other Shards I cannot identify, and are hidden to me. I fear that their influence encroaches upon my world, yet I am locked into a strange inability because of the opposed powers I hold.

This "opposing powers" comment makes me believe even more that this is Sazed.

Pattern hummed. “Do you remember,” he said softly, “when we first met on the boat? With Jasnah? Mmm … You jumped in the water. She was so shocked.”

First met on the boat with Jasnah? What? He was her spren when she was a child. That doesn't make sense.

That wasn’t the first time we met though,” Radiant said, sitting up straighter. “Shallan had spoken oaths before, after all. She had a Shardblade.”

Yeah, exactly. So why would Pattern say that? Is he trying to clue her into something?

Standing near a statue behind them was a dark figure wearing a stiff robe. Like Pattern’s, but dustier. And a head trapped in shadow. Twisted and wrong.
Christopher
Oh… Pattern isn't Shallan's first spren, is he? She already had one and broke her oaths. That's why Pattern doesn't remember being her Blade—he wasn't.

“Cephandrius,” Odium spat. “Ever the rat. No matter where I go, there he is, scratching in the wall. Burrowing into my strongholds. He could have been a god, yet he insists on living in the dirt.”
