They were splashing and goofing around—a shirtless bunch of gorgeous guys.
Even with my limited knowledge of boys, a twisting in my stomach told me this one in particular was going to be a problem.
“She knows who I am,” Cole said.
Cole was hot—his damp hair had dried in an I-just-had-sex kind of style—but his overconfident attitude made me clam up.
the fact that he practically had abs down to his toes didn’t help calm my nerves.
With his sun-bleached locks and chiseled abs, he looked like a Greek god.
I had survived my first encounter with the Walter boys.
Apparently I just needed to tackle the boys one at time.
Maybe there was more to Cole Walter than girls and sex.
“The god of all guys is flirting with you,”
“Sorry you saw me kissing your brother”?
There was that feeling again—the one that made me bold just because Cole was standing next to me.
It was some type of invisible force, as if he were the sun and I was a tiny planet being reined in by his all-consuming gravity.
“I’ve seen the way you look at me when you think I won’t notice. But the thing is, I’m always paying attention to you, Jackie. It’s like—you’re gravity and I’m just a little blip on your radar.”
