That’s so mean. Especially because you don’t even know him. I get why you would feel that way and see things that way..but you also have to know that not everything is always as it seems. Smh.

I see the copies of my applications for the academic scholarships. I had thrown these in the trash once I sent the originals out, and my blood burns at what this means.

So, with one last look at my dad, I spin around and leave. I leave behind the bullshit, leave behind the facade, and although I’m terrified, I leave behind everything I’ve ever known.

Even if he could do better than you, he doesn’t want to. He wants you. Love is basically choosing your partner everyday. And he’s made his choice. Change this thinking.
“We aren’t done talking about this,” he mutters around a mouthful. “My boyfriend is the best and he needs to start realizing that.”
