There are dozens of printed images on separate pages—Silas and I sneaking through the fence, me on Silas’ lap as we look up at the stars, us lying down side by side—but the ones that make me want the world to swallow me whole are so much worse.
“He’s going to ruin your future!” he yells, his face red with fury. “He’s trailer trash, Blaine! Why can’t you see that? Sure, you’ll have your fun now, but he’ll end up fucking you over. All those damn Aces only care about each other!”
That’s so mean. Especially because you don’t even know him. I get why you would feel that way and see things that way..but you also have to know that not everything is always as it seems. Smh.
I see the copies of my applications for the academic scholarships. I had thrown these in the trash once I sent the originals out, and my blood burns at what this means.
Oh noooo, he found out about the other schools. Well, this shouldn’t be too much of problem tho. So he wants to go to Yale..oh no…call the police. Tf 💁🏽♀️ ITS YALE ! Be so serious.🙄
“It’s Yale, Dad!” I all but shout, needing him to get it. “It’s not like I’m dropping out. I’m just choosing a different career. A damn good one too. Why can’t you be proud of that?”
This part ! He acting like he said he was gonna be a stripper or something. You know most parents want their kids to be Doctors and lawyers and such.. wtf is his issue ?? Weirdooooo.
“I’m gonna fuckin’ kill him!” I growl, not sounding like myself. I’m going to bash his fucking skull in and feed him his guts before burying him alive six feet under. “Si, calm down!” Blaine yells, and I only now realize that I’ve shot up
“Silas,” he warns, and I hold my hands up, not wanting to fight. He has to see he can do so much better than me. He sighs, snagging the sandwich and mashing the bread together harshly before taking a big bite, all the while glowering at me.
Even if he could do better than you, he doesn’t want to. He wants you. Love is basically choosing your partner everyday. And he’s made his choice. Change this thinking.
