If you have to mail order your campaign materials, the key is to order early.
make up a half-sheet size flyer that you can title, “The care and feeding of your yard sign,” that your sign crews can leave at the location of each yard sign. This flyer will explain things such as what to do if the sign is stolen or damaged, as well as how to remove and replace the sign when the grass is cut. I have written a sample of this flyer in the back of the book for you to use any way you wish.

RAISING CAMPAIGN MONEY
The bottom line is that you need to raise as much money as you can and as quickly as you can. There is a lot of truth to the idea of getting to the campaign money trough first and often.
One way to get an estimate of the money you will need is to go down to the county clerk’s elections division and look up some of the campaign finance reports of people who have run for the same office

Pick a few of your inner circle to work directly on the fundraising committee along with a few other trusted volunteers.
