I read somewhere once that our parents “did the best they could with the light they had to see with.”
One thing I have learned during my years in Hollywood is that no matter how famous a person is, they are still just a person. Since I figured that out, most stars have disappointed me with their ordinariness.
Poor me. Poor me. Pour me a drink.
There is no wealth, no rich upbringing, no inheritance. But what I was given is much more important than that, something that money cannot buy.
The thing about shame is that it is so selective.
