and Listened. Listening isn’t particularly hard. I’m not even sure it’s all that magical. I can’t explain it well, other than to say that I’m able to block out everything but what I hear and to pick up things I would normally miss. It’s a skill that not many people have these days, and one that has been useful to me more than once.
