My fiction features found family and humor. I write stories of flawed but fundamentally kind people coming together to pull off something amazing. We all have struggles and hardships in our lives, and I want my books to be a welcome respite from that. A place where hope can be found. A place where no matter how dark things get, our heroes find a way through. As a kid, my mind was blown by all the aliens in the Mos Eisley Cantina, and in my writing, I've been trying to replicate that sense of awe and wonder ever since.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, with degrees in English (Creative Writing) and Sociology.
