message 1: by Cole (new)

Cole How did you like this book?

message 2: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I loved it. I can't decide if I like it better then Twilight. It's too hard to compare the two cuz there so different. If you haven't read it yet I would definitely recommend reading it.

message 3: by Cole (new)

Cole No I have, this book definitely impressed me. I love the 4 way love thing. It was very creative and I think is her best work!

message 4: by Cole (new)

Cole I can't wait to see how they put it on the big screen. Hopefully they won't kill it like Twilight.

message 5: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I know I'm very interested to see how the pull it off. I hope they don't slaughter it like they did Twilight. I will be so mad if they do. I agree with you, I think it's by far her best work so far.

message 6: by Cole (new)

Cole The emotion that was stirred in this novel was beautiful. I gave it a 4 star!

message 7: by Cole (new)

Cole I didn't want it to end.

message 8: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I didn't want it to end either! I thought she did a really good job with the story line and the characters. It has a bit of a slow start, but once it gets going it gets going. I couldn't see how the book was going to have a happy ending so when it ended the way it did I couldn't have chosen a better ending. And I'm so excited cuz I heard she's writing two more books. When she first wrote it she said she couldn't see where she could go with it, so she wasn't going to write anymore, and I was freaking out cuz I was like you left the book with a slight cliffhanger, how could you not know where to take it, so yeah I was very happy when she said she would be continuing the story.

message 9: by Cole (new)

Cole Wait, what!!! She is continuing it. Where did you hear this. Tell me!!! And yes I thought it ended great too, I agree on the slow start as well. Loved the internal conflict the most though.

message 10: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Ya I was looking on her home page on goodreads to see if by any chance she was writing any other books, so I pulled all the books up that she's written and what do you know The Soul (Host#2) was one there, and I freaked out! I really hope that means that she is planning to continue it, it would be so amazing if she did.

message 11: by Cole (new)

Cole Wow, wow, wow! I need to look this up. Bid a moment and I will see what I can find out.

message 12: by Cole (new)

Cole From what I can see it looks pretty probable to be true. That makes me really happy but at the same time I am scared because I thought where it ended was good. I just hope it doesn't let me down. Well, thanks for bring this to my attention. I will definitly be reading this when it comes out!

message 13: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I know I hope she doesn't ruin the characters by thinking that she has to continuing it for her fans, and forcing her characters to do things they normally wouldn't just to get it written and out of the way. I do have hope that's going to be as good as the first if not better. Fingers crossed.

message 14: by Cole (new)

Cole Yes, fingers crossed!

message 15: by Cole (new)

Cole Have you read the Inheritence Cycle by Christopher Paolini.

message 16: by Cole (new)

Cole Man, I love having these long book conversations with people!

message 17: by Cole (new)

Cole Hold up, just thought of something. Who do you identify with more Wanda or Mel?

message 18: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I haven't read the Inheritance Cycle yet, It's on my TBR list. Hmmmm that is a tough question, cuz I think I'm kind of a mix between the two characters. I'm shy like Wanda is, but I would do anything to protect the ones that I love. Which Character do you think your more like?

message 19: by Cole (new)

Cole Um, I think Wanda as well. To be brutily honest I am probably more like Wanda than I care to admit.

message 20: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Haha Wanda, I think is a very good character to be like. She's pretty much amazing!

message 21: by Cole (new)

Cole Ya, that she is. Hey, we agreed on something!

message 22: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Hey would you look at that?!

message 23: by Cole (new)

Cole Hahahahaha! Anyway, I would really recommend Eragon. But I am sure you have heard that a lot.

message 24: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Yeah. I've seen the movie, but people have said that the book is soooo much better, which they usually are.

message 25: by Cole (new)

Cole Ya, the movie failed big time. I was so excited to see it when I saw the previews and then I read the series and realized it sucked. Yes, I know people usually read the book first but I didn't get to it in time.

message 26: by Jessica (new)

Jessica That's how I have been with a few books.

message 27: by Cole (new)

Cole Like which ones?

message 28: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I was like that with Percy Jackson. I watched the movie and I thought it was really good, but then I asked my cousin how it compared to the book, and he said it was really different, so it pushed to want to read the book. And then the same thing kinda happened with Harry Potter.

message 29: by Cole (new)

Cole Never read Percy Jackson, saw the movie. I did read the first two Harry Potters though.

message 30: by Jessica (new)

Jessica How did you like Harry Potter?

message 31: by Cole (new)

Cole I didn't really get into it, the story was good. But after the second I got interested in other books and stopped. I heard it gets better after the third.

message 32: by Jessica (new)

Jessica It gets way better!

message 33: by Cole (new)

Cole Maybe someday I will get back into it.

message 34: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie Jessica wrote: "It gets way better!"

Thank you! Thats what I said!

message 35: by Cole (new)

Cole Mmnnn. Being ganged up on. Hahahahah!

message 36: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Yep! You are being ganged up on. It's a sign that you must continue reading the series.

message 37: by Cole (new)

Cole Hahahahahahaha! So what do you think the Soul is going to be about anyway. Honestly the only guess I have got is the liberation of the planet or the assimilation of the souls.

message 38: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I have no idea. Every time I try to think of where she is going to take it, my mind goes blank. I can kinda understand why she was going to leave it where she had it. But I'm so excited that she is continuing it!!!

message 39: by Cole (new)

Cole Ya, I thought the same.

message 40: by Cole (new)

Cole You know I was thinking, I don't know how good the next book is going to be. There isn't going to be a any love angst that I can see.

message 41: by Jessica (new)

Jessica That is very true. I didn't think of that. Although you do have Jamie and that other human group that they found. But I honestly don't know how she is going to do this.

message 42: by Cole (new)

Cole Maybe it will be of that other alien in that other group that they meet at the end of the book.

message 43: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Oh ya, Maybe. I kinda forgot about him.

message 44: by Cole (new)

Cole What I really think though, is that it will be about the humans taking back/ or co-existing with the souls on earth.

message 45: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Ya probably. Cuz at the end when it brings in that other soul, it goes to show that the souls can co-exist with the humans if they at least tried.

message 46: by Cole (new)

Cole Ya, and remember when Wanda noticed the souls at the playground with their human baby?

message 47: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Oh ya! I'd forgotten about that too! I need to reread this soon.

message 48: by Cole (new)

Cole There is HOPE!

message 49: by Jessica (new)

Jessica There is HOPE!!!

message 50: by Cole (new)

Cole Hahahaha!
